The question that already marks the media today, and will become crucial in the future, is how to distinguish a forgery from the original, how to distinguish a lie from the truth, how to create a credible picture of reality. The documentary series Collages of Lies confronts us precisely with that question. Through six episodes: Fake News, Fake Footage, Documentary, Advertising, Conspiracy Theories and Virtual Identities, the series deals with a broad topic of media and technological lies. Through the episodes, the possibilities of modern media and technology are demonstrated, and the audience will have the opportunity to see and conduct the experiment in the real world.

Award-winning director Nebojša Slijepčević (Gangster loves you, 2013; Srbenka 2018) and talented young director Judita Gamulin (student Oscar finalist) in collaboration with producer Rea Rajčić from Eclectica, set up Collages as an interesting combination of documentary series and entertainment format which can compete with the production of foreign streaming platforms. They packed such a necessary lesson about media literacy into dynamic, contemporary, action, almost a reality-documentary form that could make a difference in what the local television program can offer.
