Ramiz Berbić is a former miner who suffered an accident in the late 1980s at the Lipnica mine, near Tuzla. He is also a former member of the Army of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The accident, the war, and the conservative environment in which Ramiz lives have all pushed him to the edge. The system was not kind to him, but instead of despairing, Ramiz decided to take to the streets alone and speak out—first about people with mental illnesses, and then about all the victims of corrupt systems and societies: victims of war crimes, genocide, and even homophobia. Time passes, and Ramiz still stands alone in the main square of Tuzla.
