SWOON

SYNOPSIS

Full of fantastical elements, strong music, and even stronger effects, this romantically powerful movie fairy tale is based on the history of Grön Lund, a real and legendary amusement park in Sweden. In the pre-war whirlwind in the north of Europe, there is love – a kind of forbidden love between her father’s princess, aware of her position, and a boy from a neighboring poorer family, who happens to be engaged in the same business. Both families earn their living by running their amusement parks. In the heat of rivalry, as it usually is, forbidden love will upset the applecart of everyone around them. A film of floral dresses, butterflies in the stomach, and roller coasters, will take their feelings further than the everyday life they belong to.
