IF YOU ARE AFRAID, PUT YOUR HEART INTO YOUR MOUTH AND SMILE
A twelve-year-old girl and her mother with a hearing disability share a strong bond despite the financial hardships they face. When she starts high school, their relationship encounters new challenges. This heartfelt story explores family, friendship, and finding one’s own voice during the sensitive years of girlhood.
