MAGA 1909
MAGA 1909 is an experimental documentary developed and filmed with professional and non-professional dancers in Belgrade and Berlin, at the original locations where Marija Maga Magazinović worked, studied, and performed with her students in the early 20th century. First woman journalist in Serbia, feminist, activist, and modern dance pioneer Maga Magazinović (1882-1968) visited Berlin in 1909 – this visit changed her life and the history of modern dance in Serbia forever.
