Giangiacomo de Stefano is an Italian producer and director of documentaries and television series. He has been working for years with the most important national networks (Sky, Rai, Rai Cinema, La Effe — Feltrinelli, Classica, Cielo). Among his many films, he directed At the Matinee, a documentary about the history of CBGB’s and the New York hardcore scene. He has been part of that scene since the late 1980s, playing in bands such as Ivory Cage, Ageing, Summer League, The Guilt Show, and Cosa Nostra.
Valentina Zanella is an Italian creative director, screenwriter, producer, and director, primarily associated with production company K+.
She was born in Verona and later professionally active in Milan. She holds a Master’s degree in Communication and Discography, and also a Master’s in Advanced Photography from IED.
Early in her career (around 2004–2009), she worked in the music industry and music video production, coordinating artists and projects, and also did editorial and creative work for music and publishing. From 2009, she’s been Creative Director at K+, working on music videos, commercials, then expanding into producing and supervising editorial film and documentary projects.
She has directed short films, and more recently has been writing and directing documentary films and features: Zucchero – Sugar Fornaciari (2023), Manara (documentary on Milo Manara), and Non è la fine del mondo, based on Alessia Gazzola’s novel.
